how bout those rocky mountains

it appears we can't get enough of the rocky mountains, because b accepted a summer internship in denver. he'll be working for nestle and we'll be there three months.

this means baby wells will be born in denver. uh, awesome. not exactly the most ideal situation, but what's life if not exciting, right? i've had a while to get used to this whole idea, and i'm not freaked out about it. i figure women have plenty of babies in colorado just like they do here. i've been researching doctors and hospitals in our new area...we'll be there two months before the baby is due, so i should be okay. but if you know of anyone in denver feel free to pass their name along :)

i shared the news at work today. i gotta say i'm getting really sick of dropping bombs on people...this is the third time in a year that i've had to tell a boss some big news. i feel bad every time, but have to keep reminding myself that real life is more important than a job.

tonight it's snowing & freezing so we went out for pho to warm up [and to celebrate b aceing his accounting final this morning]. it was delicious! now we're watching changeling and i'll go to bed early. like i do every night.

p.s. thanks for all your nice comments about my brother! he finally got to come home from the hospital today...they took out his appendix on monday, but turned out his intestines and colon were inflamed as well so no one really knows what the problem is. annoying! they kept him for more tests but now he's home. probably another 4 - 6 weeks before he gets a clean bill of health and gets to head out on the mission.

Ryan's from Denver - south Denver near littleton. His mom is even a nurse! Their area is really lovely (it's called Highlands Ranch). Maybe we can even see you there! (and new little baby!)

I LOVE DENVER! My sister lived there and had her baby there. I'll ask her for some doctor info.

Also, where did you get Pho? We love us some Pho.

Good luck with everything. Denver is the best during the summer (in my opinion).

Denver should be pretty nice in the summer, so at least you'll have that going for you.

I did send you the OB recommendation from my friend right? I can't remember now...

Hope you're feeling good!! Can't wait to see another belly shot! I remember I really popped with Sammy around 24 or 26 weeks. And more like 12 weeks with the other two. haha :)

Denver is so far away!!! BOO! Oh well, I guess we'll have to see your baby via blog post until we can get to see him in person. Names?

BTW, the changeling...not a fun one! I don't love movies about kids getting axed to death! But that's just me. :)

xoxo

no way! I'm pissed. Okay not really pissed because you're right real life is way more important but I'll miss you! Even though I only see you like once a week I will still miss that. I better start making more trips upstairs since you won't be up there soon. You go in May? that is really really exciting. And do you come back to utah after that? More importantly do you come back to AC after that?

I'll give you my docs info. He has an office in Castle Rock and Denver. He's mostly in Denver, well Littleton (Highlands Ranch) area which would be very close to where you'll be living. They are awesome and my 2nd cousin works for them as well.
When you get a chance, give me a call, my number is on your phone.

Denver is AWESOME! You will fall in love with that place! If I was to move out of Utah, I would go to Denver! I have a lot of family there (who just also had a baby!) so if you find yourselves in the Parker CO area, let me know. Plus, Boulder is only a hop, skip and a jump away and that town is amazing! I LOVE COLORADO and am a little jealous!

I'm just repeating what everyone else has said but Denver is really fun!
We lived downtown for 3 years. If Brandon is working downtown let me know and we can give recommendations of where to live. Summer is really nice there too!
