last week -- j was sleeping 10 hours + 2 hours every night. i was feeling well-rested and proud of myself.
last night -- j wakes up every 4 hours. now i'm just tired & grumpy.
just when you think you have these babies figured out....you find out you don't.
oh, and there's snow on the forecast for the majority of this week. yep, that's my life right now. awesome.

Ha! moded for sure!
I know what you mean. We have the same thing going on here minus the snow and it's been 3 days of not sleeping 8-10 hours straight anymore. :( Where did I go wrong?!
Welcome to Mommyhood. I'm sad I missed you the other night! Let's get together soon. Like, really this time.
so I guess that is just a word from Rancho (Moded) I have asked so many people if they rememeber that word and NO on knows what I am talking about- including CA people! weird...
I so know the feeling, although Presley has never slept through the night yet, she was going to sleep at 9:30 and waking at 3:30 then back to sleep until 6:30, now she likes to wake up at 1 and 4 and sometimes she wants to play after eating, I though that we were supposed to make progress and not fall behind! but I would never change it for the world!
I know how you feel! My little guy was sleeping for about 8 hours or 7 1/2 and then would get up eat and go right back to sleep for like 2 to 3 hours. It was awesome. Then the past couple of days he was been getting up at 3 or 4 and going to be the same time around 10:30 or 11. I am glad it is not many times but he is getting up earlier to eat and it is ruining my rem sleep cycles! haha Hope your little one gets back onto his schedule soon!
Duuuuude. I hear ya. Fox has yet to sleep more than 4 hours. Lately (and when I say lately I mean for the past 2 weeks and he's only 4 weeks old) he's been going down at 10:30pm then waking up at 1:30am, 3:30am, and 5:30am. I just wake up with him for the day at 5:30. So much for this "babies sleep 18 hours a day" thing....haha. But I love him to pieces :)
Will you teach me how to get to the sleeping 10 hours plus 2 hours part? I'm thinking we should probably just switch babes. maybe you could whip sophie into shape.
Did he sleep any better last night?
