hazardous commute

today i was riding the subway and some random man was singing songs about being saved by jesus. another man (don't know race, appearance, etc. -- i don't like to make eye or even face contact with strangers on the train) started yelling at him to shut up. it escalated quickly and they were getting all fired up. i was really ready to get off, even though i only had two stops to go.

the whole time i just kept thinking about how pissed i'd be if i died from randomly getting shot by a stray bullet in the case of train violence. no one pulled a weapon or anything, but seriously -- wouldn't that suck?

That's pretty scary. Because yes, that's the very situation when innocent people die. I'm glad you're alive! :)

Yes, that would seriously suck. Geez, people REALLY get annoyed at the Jesus singers!! It was that way on the DC metro too.
